Sin is forgiven only when it is confessed and repented of. That means you cannot continually and willfully continue in sin. Otherwise it is not forgiven. No true repentance.

Marriage is for procreation and when you have two men or two women that is not happening.
And in one generation, the world would die out. And when someone has kids a man is different from the woman. When you are raising a kid you need both and if you don’t have both then the kids are missing out.

Homosexuality or gay acts is an act not a orientation it’s an ACT and an ABOMINATION so it cannot be forgiven lieviticus 20:13 commands them to be put to death.

God made Adam and then Eve not Adam and then James.

If someones kid says that they are sorry that they stole a cookie from the cookie jar and then say that they r sorry and ask for forgiveness, then u forgive them, then turn around and find they just stole another one. How true do you think that repentance was?

the Catholic Church is against homosexuality, but not the person himself…the whole love the sinner hate the sin thing. that is, the person must be treated with patience, though told strictly of his sin. remember, no sin is too great to be forgiven.
but — you cant be forgiven if you’re not really sorry, and you’re not really sorry if you continue to live that lifestyle. you also cant be forgiven if you don’t accept it’s wrong.

and its because the ultimate gift God gives us is to have children (sharing in the act of Creation), and we abuse the gift when we use it for ourselves rather than what He intended. it’s kind of like your parents sending you money when you’ve lost your job, and then you going and spending it all on gambling or whatnot.

besides, God would’ve made one gender if He intended everyone to be able to have relations with everyone.

however – other christian churches are for it. the unitarian-universalist church, for example performs same-sex marriages, and theres a split in the anglican church on this issue

I am a Catholic Christian, and I support 100% gay marraige. If you love someone, you love someone. You cannot control where your heart leads you to. God is love. I think homophobes are either closeted gays, or have been bible bangers their entire lives and cannot think for themselves and have tolerance.

Christians should be against ALL sinful behavior. When a person supports same sex marriage they are saying that homosexual behavior is not sinful, which it is.

God does forgive sin when the sinner repents and forsakes his sin. God does not forgive sinners that will not repent and forsake their sins. This holds true for every kind of sin, not just homosexual behavior.

“If we confess (repent and forsake) our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

Gays and gay marriage is unnatural. I considered it a mental disorder. You would never think a pervert who wants to sleep with children is normal, why would you think two men or two women sleeping together is normal?

There are many mental disorders recorded that resemble seemingly okay things. This is just one mental disorder that was made to look normal because people base it on the fact that it doesn’t “hurt anyone” and two people agree to this act. Just know it is not natural in any way, especially nature, since two women/men do not produce offspring. The reproductive organs are not compatible when two of the same kind join together. Nature makes pairs not duplicates.

Secondly, the Bible states that God also did not intend for two of the same to join together unnaturally because God did not make humans to do this. How would you feel if you made an airplane you spent years building to fly and people turned it into a boat and party on it instead? I know that you don’t take the Bible as anything to go by but me believing God created earth and everything else, God says He doesn’t like it, so I don’t like it either. It just makes sense to me, not necessarily it being a moral thing. No sin is worse than another. But since God says being Gay IS worse than the average sin, its a big deal.

I am not judging Gays and wish them peace in this life. But all I am saying is that its not natural, it could be a mental condition that distorts your view of mating and attraction, and God our creator says He never intended gayness to be in humans.

So believe what you want. Peace be with you.

In this politically correct climate that relinquishes morality to the relativistic whims of society, stating that homosexuals should not marry is becoming unpopular. Should a woman be allowed to marry another woman? Should a man be allowed to marry another man? Should they be given legal protection and special rights to practice their homosexuality? No, they should not.

The Bible, of course, condemns homosexuality. It takes no leap of logic to discern that homosexual marriage is also condemned. But our society does not rely on the Bible for its moral truth. Instead, it relies on humanistic and relativistic morals upon which it builds its ethical structure.

Homosexuality is not natural. Just look at the male and female bodies. They are obviously designed to couple. The natural design is apparent. It is not natural to couple male with male and female with female. It would be like trying to fit two screws together or two nuts together and then say, “See, its natural for them to go together.”

Homosexuals argue that homosexuality is natural since it occurs in the animal world. But this is problematic. It is true that this behavior occurs in the animal kingdom. But, it is also true that we see animals eating their prey alive and even their own young. We see savagery, cruelty, and extreme brutality. Yet, we do not condone such behavior in our own society. Proponents of the natural order argument should not pick-and-choose the situations that best fit their agendas. They should be consistent and not compare us to animals. We are not animals. We are made in God’s image.
Where will it end?

Political protection of a sexual practice is ridiculous. I do not believe it is proper to pass laws stating that homosexuals have ‘rights’ to have sex with one another and then redefine marriage to include their views. If they can do that, then where will it end? What about pedophilia or bestiality? These are also sexual practices. Should they, too, be protected by law? If homosexuality is protected legally, why not those as well?

Your question is very difficult like an exam.
I do not know the answer.
Gay people are so poor. So, we would help them changing the way of life.
At least, gay men will be happy if they try to change, to become straight.

Well, God doesn’t just forgive if there is no repentance. If a gay guy kisses another gay guy, but doesn’t think there is anything wrong with it even when confrotned by God himself, then no God wont’ forgive. But if they repent, then God forigves. And I mean TRULY repent, none of this “just saying it on the lips but not really meaning it” kind of thing.

and Christians are against gay marriage because of the Bible. But we don’t go around saying “we hate you guys” or “kill the sinners”. The Bible also teaches love. So the correct attitude of a TRUE Christian is to tell them what the Bible says, but also to love them at the same time (like the same way a mother reprimands a child)

if you are surrounded by Christians who express hate to the gay people, then they are merely hypocrites!
